Have any of you checked out the new stuff yet? I am reserving my final judgement for the moment. Because:
Rivers is a walking case of modern day hubris.
It is hard not to compare anything they do to Pinkerton, I mean Blue, I mean Pinkerton ...
Can you really hate on a band for trying something different?
(and because, shhhhh, The Rentals are better anyway)

You know where I stand on any post-Pinkerton record. I don't think it's a case of hubris for him. I honestly think he's totally lost. Grasping. That Pork and Beans video and the other viral clips are desperate grabs at relevance.
