One More Thing

Well, the last debate is over, but if you needed just a little bit more from the candidates to make your decision, these might do the trick.  Senators Obama and McCain were at the same dinner Thursday night and spoke back to back, making fun of each other and themselves.  Both are worth watching; these are not stump speeches, and they are funny and a little moving at times.

Thanks for posting. Obama's self-deprecation was damn funny and McCain's barbs harkened back to the "Agents of Intolerance" days.

Awesome.

If people could have seen that McCain instead of crazy ideologue McCain for the last year he might have had a chance.

See, now there is the John I remember and fell in love with 8 years ago.

Thanks for the post, Dock.

This kind of thing almost makes the last 2 months worth it. I laughed. I cried. I applauded.

And then got creeped out by the guy in red.

you should replace your original video with this more complete one

I knew the one you posted was only about half complete because it was missing some of the jokes NPR had reported such as this gem:

This campaign stated so long ago with a heralded arrival by a man known to Oprah Winfrey as 'The One'

Being a friend and college of Barrak I just called him 'That One'

He doesn't mind at all. In fact, he has a nickname he calls me.

George Bush
