My god. Xboxs have the survival rate of children in the 14 th century.
Ouch. Just got mine back today. I'm surprised they haven't come up with a more permanent fix.
I'm assuming 3 red lights is bad...
Check your manufacture date. Apparently the newer they are the better your chances.
A guy on my message board tracks failures reported to our site (we get quite a few). Check out his graph tracking failures next to sales. Not terribly scientific. Vaguely hopeful, though.
I did get a lucky draw this time - 12/19/07 mfr date.
The thing is- the last time I really did see five.
I was reading on Official X-Box Magazine (#80 had Rock Band songs on it) that the new chip set has the cooler CPU but the video ship is still hot, by Julyish Microsoft plans to have both ships to the cooler chip set.
