"I can kill catering with a thought!"
Ahh British Comedy. Watch some of the other Eddie videos to get what I am talking about.
Last year on NPR Pen Gilette said America had the smartest comedy. The hostess was amazed speechless. She finally got out something like that can't be true all americans are brainless consumers. Pen reminded her that he has traveled the world doing comedy and what gets laughs in Europe is still just guys dressed like women. Benny Hill was 30+ years ago. Pen said americana have the wonderful tool of sarcasm.
So anyway Pen's opinion is always in the back of my head. I click on another Eddie video link and there he is. In full make up, heeled boots, bra and evening gown.
I watched another video, about Star Trek this time, and he was dressed as a man. However, at that moment Tiernan came in and asked, "Is that a guy or a girl?"
Oh sorry, the OP was hilarious.
People don't laugh at Izzard because he cross dresses. He just happens to be a brilliant comedian who enjoys wearing women's clothes.
