After Hot Fuzz (which was awesome) the subject of the Danes came up and I misremembered a bit of controversy. Turns out it was a Danish politician (not an editorial writer as I suggested). PM Søren Krarup, of the nationalist Danish People’s Party (DF), said the "the symbols that represent Islam and Nazism are the same thing" in reference to headscarves.
Whoops.
