Wired Rocks
Velvety voiced Chris Kohler from Wired got his retail copy of Rock Band already. Watch him sing and play lead guitar on Weezer's "Say it Ain't So." I'm so ready for this game I couldn't help but sing along to the video.
Kohler's making all kinds of Rock Band unboxing and assembly posts at Wired's Game Life blog.
I cannot wait. I am going to school all. All Rock Band videos will be put to shame. Playing on easy so you can rock out AND STILL SUCK is not acceptable.
Incidentally, after seeing the USB hub that comes with the 360 version, I am again thinking very seriously about getting it for the PS3. Assuming I can leave behind achievements, is there any other reason to get it for the 360?
I have to say, though, that the song list for the '00s is totally broken. It's like they suddenly lost their capacity for taste. Watch this space for a list of songs that SHOULD be in the '00s category.

Rock Band is about having fun, not owning noobs, you maniac.
ReplyDeleteThe set-list is amazing, especially compared to GH3.
ReplyDeleteI think Say It Ain't So is my #1 song on the list. Man, is that going to be great.

ReplyDeleteI'm voting for the 360 version. Because the PS3 is for Folding. Do you really want to be the guy who stopped cancer from being cured?
ReplyDelete"Say it Ain't So" = win
ReplyDeleteI want to have a turn at every band position on that one. Possibly multiple times.
I don't know many who can listen to "Creep" without singing it either.
ReplyDeleteAND CREEP?! It's like they made it just for me!
