Attention Dorks!
The new version of Dwarf Fortress is out. Will it be even more impossible to play? I trust Aaron will have reviews of the new z-coordinate insanity.
Sorry for the delay, but minor annoyances (such as converting my spectography data into energies on the one hand and triple integrals on the other) may keep me from filing a full report for a little while longer.
Quick first impression: Not as bad as I feared. Qualifier: I don't have any plans to delete the older version yet.
I'm pulling it down now. I'm kind of afraid...
