Karri and I played some Dead Milkmen tonight for the first time in almost two decades. Decades. They aren't as good as we remember. I think the only thing going for the songs for us now is nostalgia.
The stuff we used to listen to just to get on the nerves of people in their 30's . . .
Damn man, people in their 30's. My punk rock girl is a mom in her 30's! AVK really does take retards to the zoo; and Geoff works there!

What record? I still think Eat Your Paisley holds up really well.
I, for one, will never tire of that particular brand of nonsense.
And if you have, then you sure could use some fixin'.
Gus had it right when we discussed this last night, Aaron.
I have let my 'Milkmen muscle' atrophy.
But rehab hurts and I am lazy so I will just let them be.
Thing is, I think that same muscle is the one that lets great filmmakers continue to be good in the elder years, the one that lets you not tear your hair out when your kid starts getting busted for skateboarding in the mall parking lot and prevents you from cowering in your living room with the shades drawn because of all the terrible crimes you saw on the nightly local news broadcast.
